DI LINH

The town of Di Linh (zee linh), also known as Djiring, is 1010m above the sea level. The ares’s main product is tea, which is grown on giant plantations founded by the French. The Di Linh Plateau, sometimes compared tothe Cameron Higlands of Malaysia, is a great place for day hikes. Only a few decades ago, the region was famous for its tiger hunting.

Bo Bla Waterfall

The 32m high Bo Bla WaterFall is 7km southwest of Di Linh, close to National Hwy 20.

Getting There & Away

Di Linh is 226km northeast of HCMC and 82 km southwest of Dalat on the main HCMC-Dalat highway. The town is 96km from Phan Thiet by a secondary road.

Pongour Falls

pongour Falls ( admission: 10.000), the largest in the Dalat area, is about 55km towards HCMC from Dalat and 7km off the highway. During the rainy season, the falls form a full semicircle.

GOUGAH FALLS

Gougah Falls ( admission 10.000) is approximately 40km from Dalat towards HCMC, It is only 500m from the highway so it’s only 500m from the highway so it’s easy to get to.

LIEN KHUONG FALLS

At Lien Khuong Falls, the Dan Nhim River 100m wide at this point, drops 15m over an outcrop of volcanic rock. The site, which can be seen from the highway, is 25km towards HCMC from Dalat. Lien Khuong Falls is not far from Lien Khuong airport

DAN NHIM LAKE

elevation 1042m.

Dan Nhim Lake was created by a dam built between 1962 and 1964 by japan as part of its war reparations. The huge Dan Nham hydroelectric Projest supplies electricity much of the south.

The lake is often used by hCMC movie studios for filming romantic lake scenes. The lake’s surface area is 9.3sq km.

The power station is at the western edge of the coastal plain. Water drawn from Ngoan Muc Pass in two enormous pipes.

It is said that the forested hills around Dan Nhim Lake are fine for hiking and that there is good fishing in the area.

Getting there & Away.

Dan Nhim lake is about 38km from Dalat in the Don Duong sistrict of Lam Dong province, As you head towards Phan Rang and Thap Cham, the dam is about a kilmetre to the left of the Dalat – Phan Rang highway. The power station is at the base of Ngoan Muc Pass near the town of Ninh Son.
