Lang Co Beach
Lang Co is a pretty, island-like stretch of palm-shaded sand with a crystal-clear, turquoise-blue lagoon on one side and many kilometres of beachfront facing the South China Sea on the other. It’s a tranquil spot where lots of travellers make a lunch stop and some spend night. If you’re travelling on one of the “open tours” along the coast, this makes a fine place to hop off for a night or two, depending, of course, on the weather and season.
The beach here is best enjoyed between April and July. From late August till November, rains are frequent, and during the chilly months, from December toFebruary, it may serve best as just a lunch stop.
There are spectacular views of Lang Co, just north of Hai Van Pass, from both National Hwy 1 and from the trains linking Danang and Hue.
